In the store now! Our favourites are the awesome 1970s black disco halter jumpsuit (it has POCKETS) and the 80s floral dress with tulle underskirt (I had it up on etsy when I was still in Germany)

PS Blogging lightly since getting back in town. So much Bam related fun to attend to, including a blog award kindly bestowed on us by the lovely Likkle Girl...we're working on who to pass the award onto next right now...gosh it's late, time for bed!

Just added to the store!

These new lovelies are now in the store, as well as some other unsold or unpaid for gems!

Our favourite item for the upcoming southern hemisphere Summer is this vintage 80s strapless dress, reminiscent of the best of Ken Done. Lovely heart-shaped bodice and ruched back, full skirt. Hot!

But just so the northerners aren't forgotten, we've added this cute knit dress from label Peter Lord. It has the cutest little neck tie and a pretty mini-concertina pleated skirt:

Auction ending earlier

Just letting everyone know that we've brought the end date for this dress forward because we've had some bidders concerned they won't get the dress in time for Melbourne Cup Day. You now have until Oct 26 to place your bid!

While driving through Georgia on our thrifting adventure, we stopped by a little thrift store in the town of Jesop. Run by little old church ladies who loved - and I mean LOVED - Sarah Palin, the store was stuffed top to bottom with racks and racks of clothes. This place was what we classify officially in our records as a Fried Goldmine, and we walked out with literally piles of stuff, including this lovely 1970s western shirt dress:


We inspected it for flaws when we got back to the motel and it was in beautiful condition. Then we finally checked the tag so we could log the info for the listing and here's what it said:


There we were, chuffed at how we managed to find this awesome dress, and it turned out to be a vintage Diane von Furstenberg! High five!

It will be going up in the store next Sunday!

Party Season in the store...

The store has been updated with new dresses for this year's party season! Just in time for Melbourne Cup day and the string of parties we're all bound to be trekking out to.
